My Story About Camp Strawberry

By Megan, grade 5

Camp Strawberry was my first camp experience and I loved it. My favorite part was playing with my old friends Grace & Andre plus I met lots of new friends. The counselors were nice to me and made me feel safe. I’m not the best swimmer, but the counselors helped me feel more comfortable in the water. My swim teacher, Ms. Mary was very patient with me in the water. I also learned tennis and soccer. The walking adventures to Woody’s and the Creek were really fun. I always knew it was a special day when I got to wear my blue Camp Strawberry shirt on adventure day. When my mom picked me up every day, I was tired and sometimes fell asleep in the car on the way home. I can’t wait to go back!

Our Stories About Camp Strawberry

By Hannah, 3rd Grade and Zoe, 1st Grade, Strawberry Point School

Hello. My name is Hannah and this year I will be going to Camp Strawberry. I will be nine years old and last year I had a total blast. My favorite activities at Athletic X were soccer, basketball and swimming. My favorite day of the week at camp was Friday because we got to go on field trips at the end of day.

Hello. My name is Zoe and my first favorite part is the field trips to Woody’s where they have pink and blue cotton candy ice cream. My second favorite part of Camp Strawberry is the swimming. One time Atlas the instructor told us a story he thought was real about a tomato head but it wasn’t real - he was funny. I like the tennis and swimming days the best.
