Wishing you could send your children abroad this summer for a rich cultural experience immersed in the French language? EFBA – French Education in the Bay Area offers children K-5th grade the opportunity to have a true immersive experience in French through our week-long summer camps staffed by French native speakers from France or other French-speaking countries.
We take your children on an amazing journey through the ages and cultures of France and other French-speaking lands. Although French is the only language used during the camp, non-native speakers are welcome! Our ratio is 1 adult for 5 or 6 children, which ensures the French immersion. The language is a tool for super fun activities, games and exciting encounters that will satisfy the discovery needs, leisure, creativity, imagination, and socialization of each child. Your children will become explorers, adventurers, artists and researchers in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
This innovative summer program is part of the EFBA year round model. For non-native speakers, visual, audio and other supports are prepared in advance by our educators in order to facilitate the French immersion experience. Our camp counselors are specifically trained to make the children feel comfortable through techniques that ensure that each of them finds his/her place in the group and has a great time!
