Halleck Creek Ranch invites youth and young adults with special needs (AND their siblings!) to join us for horse camps this summer! Here at Halleck Creek Ranch, we believe that those with special needs can do anything they want, they just have to do it a little differently. If your child or young adult loves animals and being outdoors, then this is the camp for you.
Campers are grouped by age and ability level, no previous horse or riding experience required. Our Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and interns direct activities with an emphasis on safety, respect for others, and most importantly, fun! Activities will include horsemanship skills, horse care, interactive group activities, and riding lessons both in an arena and on the trail!
WHO can join in the fun?
Children and young adults with a wide range of special needs including developmental, physical, and sensory disabilities (and their neurotypical siblings!). HCR offers year-round therapeutic riding programs to riders with a wide range of developmental, physical, and sensory disabilities including: autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, vision/auditory impairments, and more.
