Dive into marine science at Camp Sea Quest, a summer camp for aspiring marine scientists K-6! Through real science experiments, marine mammal observations at the Center’s unique hospital, nature discovery hikes in a national park, crafts, games and more, campers will discover the wonders of marine mammals and learn how we are all connected to the ocean.
WHERE: The Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands, just minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge
WHEN: June 19-August 11, 9:00 am–3:30 pm. Extended care is available from 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
AGES: Rising k-grade 6
ACTIVITIES: There will be science experiments, guided tours of our marine mammal hospital, nature exploration walks/hikes, crafts, games, special activities and when possible, opportunities to do behind-the-scenes experiences at the Center.
COST: Prices range from $200-$450/week. Scholarships are available.
DETAILS: Camps feature different age-appropriate themes, including Magnificent Marine Mammals, Hospital Heroes, and Vet Detective, for campers to learn about the Center’s hospital, veterinary team, and marine mammal patients.
