Peter Morrison shares his love for magic with FastForward reporters

We arrived at the Marrakech Magic Theater in beautiful San Francisco, where we descended down a long staircase lined with electric candles before landing in a large room. A golden ceiling arched above us and a golden star adorned the floor below. We landed in a Moroccan-themed and decorated eating and sitting area, where Peter Morrison the magician appeared in the room dressed in a suit and classic- styled black and white shoes a nd slicked back hair.

According to Morrison, what makes his shows different than other magicians today is his elegant, classic style. Unlike other magicians, Morrison isn’t seen wearing the flashy or shiny blue velvet suits and he performs in an intimate historical setting. “I am a very classical magician, and like classical music, my performance is skill-based,” he said. “I don’t use a bunch of fancy boxes and smoky mirrors and lovely assistants jumping out of boxes; it is more just me performing skillful, elegant magic.”
