In reference to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Verbinski is not directing a fourth because he believes "it’s nice to do something you don’t know how to do." He further said, "When something doesn’t scare you anymore, it’s time to move on." "Rango" was much different than most movies he has previously directed, so he was up for the challenge.

In reference to Abigail Breslin, the other star we interviewed, Verbinski said she is very smart and easy to work with. "I think Abigail is way ahead of herself in years," he said.

The most rewarding part of working on the film was watching the finished product, and seeing all their hard work pay off.

Adding a child’s perspective to the interview, Abigail Breslin, the 14-year-old star, gave us her thoughts on the movie. Breslin said "Rango" was filmed like a play, so all the characters interacted with each other instead of simply standing at a microphone doing voice-overs. Breslin believes her part is the opposite of how she acts in real life. Furthermore, it was fun for her to act differently than she usually does. In addition, Breslin was very excited to work with Johnny Depp, and mentioned that he was very nice! The most rewarding part of working on the film was watching the finished product, and seeing all their hard work pay off.

On a more personal note, Breslin says she is just a normal freshman. Her friends are not movie stars, and she just talks with them about shopping and homework. She said that her friends are very supportive, and her relationship with them has not been strained by her acting career. She gets starstruck just like any regular teenager. For example, she was very excited to have met Justin Beiber a few days before the interview.
