Following are a list of local resources offering mental health services for youth.
Community Mental Health Services of Marin County
Call 415-473-3068. They can authorize services for youth with Medi-Cal and make referrals for other teens.
Huckleberry Youth Programs
Call 415-258-4944 for information and linkage to individual and family counseling. www.huckleberryyouth.org
Novato Youth Center
Call 415-892-1643, ext. 239 for individual therapy for teens, as well as support groups
Novato Wellness Center
Call 415-898-1100 for individual therapy for teens, as well as support groups
Family Service Agency of Marin (FSA of Marin)
Call 415-491-5700 for affordable counseling and TeenScreen. FSA of Marin offers this screening tool on an individual basis, as well in the school setting. A parent can bring in their teenager for an assessment. Services are available in Spanish and English.
Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS)
JFCS offers individual counseling for teens and pre-teens, as well as family counseling. Call 415-491-7959 for JFCS’ Parents Place in Marin County.
Buckelew Programs
Buckelew Programs' PATH Program for Transition Age Youth provides services to young men and women (16-25) who are struggling with mental health challenges. For information, call 415-460-2167.
