Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away as Rob Bredow, Executive Creative Director and Head of ILM, discusses his latest venture as Co-Producer and Visual Effects Supervisor of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Bredow has been building and earning his reputation as a topflight visual effects expert since he was a teenager. He entered the film business while still in high school and worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks as Chief Technology Officer and Visual Effects Supervisor before joining Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) in 2014 as Vice President of New Media and Head of Lucasfilm’s Advanced Development Group. Besides Solo his credits include Independence Day, Stuart Little, Anger Management and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Jason Reynolds ~ Life Ain’t Always No Happy Ending

The novel Long Way Down, is written in verse. Taking place over a period of 60 seconds, it details the story of a teenage boy named Will whose brother has been murdered. As he rides an elevator to the ground floor, the site of the crime, he must decide whether to follow the rules of his neighborhood and avenge the murder using his brother’s gun.

The story jolted us. It made us feel. It made us think. It made us question.

A video plays in the foreground through McIntosh speakers, pounding out incredible sound while showcasing a track of experimental musicians.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get more interesting, in strolls a famous rapper: ROMderful. He’s colorful, soulful, and happy, and he wants to share his story with you. Spoiler: it involves pineapples, video games, and good vibes.
