For the future, he hopes to just keep getting better. “It is that simple. We have become quite an institution here in San Francisco,” he said. “You give your all and hope people like it, and so far, it’s working”

Sometimes people need a reminder that things can be magical, even if they don’t believe in magical power. That is the role of the magician, to remind and show people that magic is there. Seeing Peter Morrison perform at the Marrakech Theater gave us perspective what magic exists in the world. He said, “I don’t do magic for the magic, I do it for the show and to make people smile.”

What we took away from what he said was that it does not really matter if what the magician is doing is actually “magic” as long as it feels like it is to the audience. Because if the audience feels and believes it’s magic, then it is magic to them.
